Magnet Lock Installation Guide

FAQ: Installation

When I open my cupboard, the lock isn't stuck to the cupboard door?
This issue is almost always caused by the cupboard door not sitting flush (can sometimes be raised slightly or have padding to stop it slamming. To solve this issue upon installation, you will need to change the depth that the 'catch' part is installed. Move this part outwards the exact same amount to which the cupboard door is raised. E.g if the cupboard has 2mm stoppers on it, move the catch part outwards by 2mm also. Skip the above video to 0:33 for reference.

Where can I buy replacement magnet keys?
Replacement magnet keys are available from our store here.

How do I safely remove them from my cupboards?
We recommend heating up the sticky pads using a hair dryer and the 'cutting' away the pads using dental floss. Remove any remaining residue using sticky stuff remover or a similar cleaning agent. This will ensure there is no damage when the product is removed.
Do NOT yank on any of the parts to remove them as this may cause damage.
Please also note that the cupboard locks can be disabled without the need to remove them, simply push down the hook part of the magnet lock until it clicks into a disabled position.
